The Arillas Questionnaire summary analysis of results in 2011

During the season 2011 we had printed and distributed 1000 questionnaires and collected 365 completed pieces that were given to our visitors from their hosts and Shops owners.
The results and analysis were announced to the Local business owners in February 2011.
This year’s questionnaires are not only in paper form but on the internet as well. If you have ALLREADY BEEN this year to Arillas please take two minutes time and help us improve our facilities and maintain a well balanced environment between the visitors and the local business owners.

Most people found out about Arillas from searching on the internet and from travel companies. A large percentage found out Arillas from friends or relatives.

The  percentage of 48% booked their holiday through the internet at travel agency. The rest have booked directly with the owners (via telephone, internet, etc.)

The 1/3 of respondents has been to Arillas for the first time and everyone else is repeated visitors.
The ages of visitors range from 30 to 65 years with greater density at the ages of 45 - 65.
The evaluation of the beach, hospitality, cleanliness, sense of security, restaurants, bars, cafes and accommodation is good" to "excellent" with a very few cases rated "bad" which should be taken under consideration  seriously.

The highest percentage of poor ratings was given to:
access to the beach,
road conditions,
traffic safety
pedestrian access,
tourist information,
and above all the lack of ATM.

The main purpose of the visit and the holidays are:
The seaside holiday
walking in nature
general relaxation

95% of respondents were satisfied with their holidays and everyone wants to come back soon.
The majority of visitors do not pay more than 500 Euros per person for a package holiday..

The question about what people liked most during their holiday in Arillas was:
The great hospitality and culture of the people generally.
The quiet and relaxed environment
landscapes of natural beauty and the beach.

A large percentage was more than happy with the quality of good Greek food in restaurants and tavernas of Arillas.

The question of what they did not like while you were in Arillas.
Was answered by a large percentage emphasizing the noises coming from various factors such as bars, vehicles, etc. A respectable percentage was severely annoyed with the image of closed sthops and abandoned buildings in general.
