Cheers Raff ! All sorted from Brum. Manchester not out as yet I don't think. Cost us £245 each return with 20kgs each. Well happy with that from Brum (much closer for us in Wolverhampton)..... cheaper than this year from Manchester.
Thanks again mate

Jo.... Ryanair fly from Birmingham on Tuesdays and Saturdays so there will be no return flight on Thursday 17th August 2017   (nearest dates are Tue 15th £142.99 or Sat 19th £121.99 at todays price)

East Mids not out yet

After getting fed up with waiting for Ryanair to release East Midlands flights i've just booked to fly from Birmingham. £200 cheaper than we paid this year from East Mids. £1100 for 6 people including baggage and pre booked seats, roll on next July for our first stay at Bardis sun studios. Cant wait.
Andy.

You must be happy Andy taking the plunge on the Brum flights as the East Mids ones look quite a bit more expensive, well for my August school holiday dates anyway?

Well happy mate, we're being a bit naughty and taking the kids out of school for the last 2 weeks of term( they don't do anything in these weeks anyway) and as there is no law at the moment about taking them out of school i thought i'd make the most of it and get the holiday forms in, then if they bring out new laws i doubt they could enforce them on holidays that are already booked, that's what i'm hoping anyway.
Andy.

I don't blame you in the slightest mate!
We usually take them out a day or two early on the half term holidays and get a threatening letter for our offence!
Ridiculous when parents don't take their kids into school because they can't get out of bed with a hangover but I suppose thats life!
Our kids didn't have a single day off when my Mother In Law passed away 6 months ago but schools never seem to look into individual cases, if your kids out of school you're all treated the same.
Off topic..... Sorry!

Excellent !!!  :-)
The thing is Jo I am sure IF you could you would treat each "case" on its own particular merits?
We ALWAYS apply for the holiday too and they just don't authorise it

Sorry Jo,
I must not take my children out of school in term time.
I must not take my children out of school in term time.
I must not take my children out of school in term time.
I must not take my children out of school in term time.
I must not take my children out of school in term time.
I must not take my children out of school in term time.
In my defence they did have 98% attendance last year and i viewed it as an educational experience for them.
I'm off to sit on the naughty step now!!
lol.
