Title: Catering for baby
Post by: spozzer on April 16, 2006, 10:23:05 PM
Hi there!

I am due to visit Arillas in May and am taking my baby on holiday for the first time.  Can anyone confirm if there is a supermarket or shop where I can purchase nappies and baby food, etc?

Thanks
Spozzer

Hi Spozzer,

Alex supermarket has nappies and jars of babyfood.  I cannot remember if they sell powdered milk formula, as we took over sachets of SMA formula with us for our grandson.

Here is Alex's website, perhaps you could email him if there is anything in particular you will be looking for.

Hi,

We took our 7 month old little girl with us last year and we got everything we need in Sidari, about 20 minute drive from Arillas.

They did sell bits in Arillas but we found this Supermarket in Sidari great.

It sold everything that we needed. Hope this helps.

If they haven't got what you need at Alex's they will try to get it for you.Very very helpful.

Hi,

We took both our kids to Corfu as babies (now 5 and 7 yrs). May is a lovely time to go. We found that nappies, milk and baby food supplies were very limited in the small resorts. Luckily we had been told this before and took our own. Nappies are also much more expensive in Corfu.

Look for low sodium content (Na) on bottled water, as some brands are quite salty.

It's best to take a travel cot too.
