Title: BIG smiles
Post by: Eileen on April 07, 2012, 08:21:08 AM
Big smiles and pure enjoyment - the reason why everyone should try a visit to Arillas during the Spring (or in fact any time of the year!)

I for one would love to visit Arillas in spring the earliest we have been to Corfu was our 1st time in 99 staying over in San Stefanos at Villa Voulla apartments, that was mid May and we were hooked, to this day Corfu still remains my favourite of all the Greek islands we have visited even though we loved them all Corfu just has that little something more special :-)

What a lovely photo, Eileen.
I agree with Tony, Corfu does have something very special.
I've only been to one other Greek Island, Crete, so I can't
compare much, but I knew from the very first time I set foot
in Corfu that this was where I wanted to be.

What a fabulous happy picture Eileen! How easy is it to take your pet?

I've only just noticed this. A lovely photo Eileen. Did you take any looking along the beach?  Also (sorry to ask questions), have you tried the donkey track to Akrioti yet? Thanks again

Liam and Kyra look like they are enjoying having the beach to themselves.
Thats what I call taking the dog for a walk.

Have a good time.

Nice to hear Liam & Kyra's smiles were catching :-)

Jo it was very easy to bring Kyra over...thank goodness!  Things have been simplified now, including new rules issued by DEFRA in January which simplified the process of bringing pets back into the UK.

Any vet should be able to guide owners through the process of securing a pet passport...no hassle at all apart from coughing up £300+!  Once a passport has been issued it's just a case of making sure routine annual vaccinations are kept up to date and recorded by the vet in the passport.

Before re-entering the UK dogs must be treated for tapeworm.  This has to be administered by a vet not less than 24 hours and not more than 120 hours before arrival in the UK.

Terry ~ I'll get onto the case :-)

What a bl**dy gorgeous photo! It just captures the point of Arillas - a community dedicated to enjoyment.

Have met both littl'uns. Kieran and Liam are both going to be the next generation of Arilliacs. They are beautiful boys who are lucky enough to see what life can be like if you know about it.

Both are grandsons of some of the most wonderful people we have ever met. And with whom we will be spending a little while in July. Yet more confirmation that Arillas and this forum can connect you with probably the best people in the world. Eat your heart out Carlsberg....

Thanks for sharing, Eileen.  I want it to be August right now!
Our Milo, (Jack Russell), would love to run in those (small) waves.

Eileen (fellow Diva) - I just love that photo - bliss. Just makes me want our retirement to hurry up. Our dog Poppy loves swimming - she will just love to swim in that beautiful sea. Will start saving for her passport. Thanks for sharing xxx

Our Kizzy can find a muddle puddle anywhere anytime of year and also loves swimming in the many lakes round here. When it comes to having a bath in clean water in a clean bath she hates it, she always has been a funny little bitch. lol. Viv.
