Title: Apartments with lounge area?

Hi,

Have been to Arillas a number of times and love it so much.... we have stayed at the Marina, loved it and so friendly and comfortable.  However, as two adults and two teens, feel I would like somewhere that has some communal space to sit in, so teens can get away from each other a bit at times!  Does anyone know of apartments (not too far from beach) which would have that?

Hi Fiona,

There are apartments at The Rainbow complex - Nafsika, they are two bedroomed with a living area.  They are not too far from the front either.

Thanks Cheryl!  had looked at Rainbow, do you happen to know if you can book directly with them, or if you have to go through a tour operator?

Fiona, I think you can book direct as well as tour operator - I'll find out for you next week when I'm there!

Others on here will have more information than me but I will ask for you and report when I get back.

Hi Fiona, Makris or Nafsika both have large apartments and I think you can book both of them with Thomas Cook or independent.  Well I am sure about the Makris, we stayed there in July and the two largest apartments were private bookings. One of the families who were there said it had worked out cheaper booking direct. The contacts are on the forum Directory.

I asked Jimmy if we could book direct for nafsika next year and he said we needed to book throught Thomas Cook as they didn't do indipendent bookings

You can only book the studios direct at the Rainbow. Have a look at the greencorfu website they have some apartments with a lounge area.

The two bedroom apartments behind Gratsella have quite a large kitchen/dining room with table and chairs and a hallway. Prices are reasonable as well.

Kaloudis Village have two two bedroomed apartments owned by Roula and one three bedroomed apartment owned by Billy that have fantastic living areas - a real "home from home", cheers, Jules

jules look also at irenes villas,,lrg apts,with all the gadgets ie music ,cd player ,lrg lounge area,s ,,3mins wlk to the beach..x
