The broken road is finally repaired

The broken piece of the road towards Kaloudis village along the beach has been successfully repaired by the local community authorities!
I had been a hassle to get all the necessary permissions to authorize the works, therefore it took them so long to complete the works.
this picture is taken today just a few hours before the first package holidaymakers arrive to the resort.
slowly the tavernas and bars are opening one after the other,
Petros is carrying the sunbeds and umbrellas to the beach,

Thank you Dimitris for the lovely picture. The road is mended and the season is just about to start. Good luck to all of you in Arillas and I sincerely hope this season will be good to you all. It's good to see the beach looking so inviting as well. Will be there in August to see for ourselves but until then, here's wishing my time away.

Ah Dimitris, the excitement of the new season. I can already smell the gorgeous aromas from Roula's kitchen. The road is mended, the winter is over! Your picture says it all.
We will not be with you till 1am on 13th July (lucky for some....) and will be rushing off to the Nut to renew our friendship with Kostas, Hannah, Perry, Maria and littleun. So get the Mythos on to chill for the morning.... And remember we are booked to eat at Brouklis with John and Dot that evening. We're so excited already. Just got to get through the next 10 weeks....
