I'm sure that a few of you will have noticed the following message after posting or replying
Database Error: MySQL server has gone away
File: /home/arillas/public_html/forum/Sources/Subs-Post.php
Line: 1464Database Error: MySQL server has gone away
File: /home/arillas/public_html/forum/Sources/Load.php
Line: 2035
Then if you go back you get the red lettered message saying that someone else has posted etc... well just ignore as that someone else is you! Otherwise your post comes on more than once. No idea why this has started happening!

I get the same message. It could be due to a network speed problem and the server that hosts the forum, is timing out.
-
Yes, I've found that too, Jo.
I normally open this website in another window, click forum and scroll down to check whether my post has gone through properly or not, before doing anything else.

I do too! But I click on "preview" first, then "post" - I think Phil recommended this (or maybe Terry??) and then it works.
I may lose the server, but my post has always gone through

Same for me. Just 'presume' it's been posted and carry on as normal. I have just discovered that I can now view the webcam every time, for ages it's been impossible to access from my Apple Mac, not sure why, but now up and running again!
Martin.

Hello to everyone who is an Arillas addict like me, I have just read Mr C Curtis's review of Arillas and agree that it paints a bad picture of this little piece of Heaven on Earth, I love the place, and look forward every year to spending a week in Arillas, last year we tried San Stefanos but did not enjoy it as much as Arillas, so this year we are back again, staying for the first time at Tria Adelphia. When you are on holiday and enjoying yourselves, money does not really come in to it. I find Cornwall more expensive than Corfu. I am flying over on the 21st June for a week and both myself and my husband cannot wait. See you all on the 21st June.
