Arillas looks magnificent today.

16 deg C, calm and peaceful. I've really got it bad today. Why am I not there??

Looks wonderful Phil. Wishing I was there too, but only 8 days to go for me.
I received an email from my friend Penny yesterday who lives in Afionas. This is what she wrote..... I'm sure she won't mind me sharing it
...." The weather is perfect, 20degrees nearly every day, its beautiful. Yesterday our friends had a grand garage opening with a darts tournament. It was great fun, there was 16 of us, we all ate outside in the sunshine then played our darts "

Lucky you Sara....8 days. This is the first time in three years that I won't be there for Easter....let's hope the warm, dry spell lasts.

Thanks for your post Sara. Admittedly it added to my longing. But I was going to be thinking like that all day anyway. Sounds idyllic. Was the darts anything to do with our Eggy?
And Sandy luvver, I am so envious. Haven't done one Easter, or come to that a May visit. YET. The way I'm feeling today, I might just rip it all up and be there from next week onwards. Poor but happy. Without Jen I would have done it years ago.
Sorry folks - I've got a severe dose of what Terry called "Arillasitus."

The weather has been fabby this last while! They say that it will change on Monday, but we'll see.........
We spent a very pleasant while at the creperie with a few beers yesterday afternoon.
(we don't usually go out for drinks weekdays, but we'd been cycling & we were hot & thirsty)....that's my excuse , anyway!!!!!

Ah maggie luvver, I read your post somewhere else (Facebook?) about a quick beer turning into three... That sounds just like Jen and me. It's the whole point of life there. Avrio will do... nothing really matters except now. The washing? I'll just wear something else till I'm in the mood... All this rushing around with diaries and appointments is so destructive.
So glad yous two have settled in. You've got a wonderful summer in front of yous.

Arrh. Sorry Phil. Just think of my post as a taster of what's to come.......... when you move to Arillas to cure your "Arillasitus" I just know you'll get there one day soon.
I don't know if the darts was anything to do with Eggy. I'm sure to find out though.

Just picked this post up.
Yesterday was a good day with super food and not so super darts.
( Food took prioriy though )
I will post some pics soon,
Today has been a cracker with an Ouzo shared at many places.
Tomorrow will be a purge on the garden digging/planting etc.
Now is beddy bies after a long and strenuos day.
Homer and Wegg are beginning to make friends. If they want to book a Hotel room, for a night soon, I must remind them that Wegg and ! are not picking up the bill

Ah Negg, another reason I'm pining today. Days on the lash (like you just had) meeting loads of lovely people. I'd better go to sleep now too so at least I can dream....

8 weeks to go till we get back to arillas,cant wait to just let the world go by and not think of anything but,wer do we eat next.we really do feel as if its a different world and will deal with the real world when we get back.this place must be heaven.
