What  a nice day!!!
Finally the beach is coming back!!
the North wind ( MAistro) IS doing its job bringing back the sand that the south-west winds took away a couple of weeks ago,

Ah Eileen you took the words from my mouth... I would so love to be walking there right now.  Quiet reflection on my bench, share a gorgeous meal at Amourada, natter to anyone who's about then a quiet evening with a bottle or two.... Bliss!

It looks WONDERFUL Dimitris - thank you for the update! It would be great to be able to walk along it right now, but unfortunately we'll have to wait until May.

What wonderful news the beach is coming back. Thanks for the photo.
Like Phil, Eileen and many others I guess, I for one would like to go for a walk there right now, but I'll have to wait until June. Love to you all.

We feel a bit spoilt, our only visit (until June/July) was the same time in 2008 and you could walk the whole way from North to South without getting as much as a toe wet. I understand 2009 was poor, but was our experience in 2008 that rare?

BTW What a stunning picture Dimitris, coming from the North East of England, that water looks like the kind we get during August in Whitley Bay. So come June it will be like a warm bath :-) Can't wait.

We missed 2008 (our daughter got married) and the beach wasn't brilliant 2009 but we still made the most of it and it didn't detract one iota (is that Greek?) from our holiday.
Looking forward to this May though! Really, really cannot wait!
