I generally use "Image Shack" to upload pics to the Forum but, it seems, it changes it's screen format every time I login. Now I can't seem to get any sense out of it"
Any advice to a negative computer master how I can get these pics on the Forum?
I know info has been posted before but can't find it.
Aaaaarrrrggggghhhh - Is nothing simple anymore in this world.

Hi Neill,
I had exactly the same problem as you, I could once post pictures with Image Shack and then lost it!
As Terry posted some good advice on uploading pictures using Photo Bucket, I followed this and it worked fine. I just tried to copy and paste his post but was not able to. But you can find it on Page 4 of "Cold Weather" Reply 50 in the Chat section.
Hope this helps,

Hi Eggy.
Just logged in to imagegack.us which the one I use. After the email/password screen you get to the "new" look upload. Down the right hand side is a menu and at the bottom you can find a choice "Classic View." If you click on this you get a screen with all your current pics and the code. As usual, you want DIRECT. You can upload new pics at the top of this screen too.

It looks like the above. Hope it helps. If not, email and I will try to guide you.
All the best to You, Wegg, Megg and Homer

When did Imageshack change?
I used the 'old style' just this morning to upload my snowy photo.
-
Not sure, Sara, maybe it was a while back and we only recently discovered it!
Well done, Phil, may give that a try too...

Google Imageshack and use the old version.
up load the picture then cut and paste the Direct link.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Guys.
Certainly can't get past the "Upload Now" on Image Shack as it displays "Invalid E-mail"
Tried to register but no good either.
I'll try the other options.
Cheers

Neill, Terry is the man for help in this area. Mind it did take 2 phone calls and plenty of practice. The problem you have is why I couldn't post pictures, photobucket is so simple and I haven't had any problems with doing it this way

Nope, it didn't work - I tried it from a photo on Facebook. I've managed once before using photobucket (I think) but I put most of my photos on Facebook so if this link had worked it would have been more convenient
