Sandy darling emailed me "are you coping?" Well I said the truth, er no....
36 hours without the forum to read really did hurt. Sad, addicted, windbag, Arilliac, call me what you like. Have had so many emails offering sympathy... But then y'all are the same.
Thanks for getting us back on Dimitris. Will buy you a large drink next July....

I;m really sorry for this dear friends … The internet connection in Arillas has been down since two days now I only found out that the website was completely down today when I managed to login through someone else’s broadband connection. I contacted my server administration and within half an hour the problem was solved.
Why things happen all at the same time?
The reason for not having our broadband right now is that The local telecommunication station in Magoulades is being upgraded which means that soon we will be ale to have faster internet connections up to 8mbps and hopefully up to 24mbps , that will be good for the live webcam streaming as I will be able to run it properly.
Last day at Brouklis Tomorrow The last family of visitors of Arillas are eating with us and on Monday they leave with the last easy jet flight for this summer season. It has been a lovely week with loads of sunshine and unbelievable warm water in the sea.

PS: We are used to power-cuts in Corfu but... Two to four days with out internet.... is too much!!!! It seems that many babies will be born soon in about nine months..

Dimitris mate, it is Halloween tonight. Yours, my Jen's and Annie's birthday tomorrow.
The season is over, Arillas is tucked up in bed for the winter. Keep it safe for me. It means so much to me. Looking forward to being there next July.

I have been away for the weekend, but I did have a nice surprise yesterday (Sunday).
A few months ago I got a new phone - A HTC Magic - and have found that I can use it to browse the internet faster than with other phones I have had. Like most men and, some women, I take something to read in the loo. The HTC is just the right size and Arillas is my Browser home page. Oh the joy of seeing the blues and yellows of the Arillas home page starting to appear as the forum page loaded :-)
It was great till there was a knock at the door and a voice was asking "have you died in there ?".
:-( - I hope this isn't too much information.
