Well, our website was down for a few hours last evening 31st Aug 2009 ..
The problem was due to a wrong calculation for the website's monthly bandwidth transfer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bandwidth_(computing)l).
I have had a busy evening so there where no time for fixing this but I knew that it was only temporal.
I'm really sorry for the withdrawal symptoms that I caused during these hours.
The website is since 02:00 in the morning up and running
I wish you a ll a nice day,
Dimitris

Sometimes it's a good thing when the Forum website goes down.
It reminds us all off what we would miss if it ever stopped completely.
( Aaaaarrrrggghhhh - Don't even think about it! )
Cheers

Thank you Dimitris!
I wondered what had happened when I tried my late night 'catch up". As Neil says, we would really miss it if it ever stopped completely. Thank you for all you do for us, it's much appreciated.
See you soon,
Martin.

Not very computer literate and didn't know what it meant by 'bandwidth limit'. Pleased to know I hadn't done anything wrong! Keep up the good work Dimitri, you dont realise how much you miss it til its gone, even for a short time. Glenda.

Yes thank you Dimitris. I was quite "lost" when I couldn't get my nightly Arillas fix! I was restless all night x

Janis luvver, as you might guess, I was up until the small hours. Apparently I hijacked Facebook, and our Sharon told me off about it! (All joking of course.)
But many have been reminded how dependent we have become on this forum, to connect with others who share it all, and to help us dream or reminisce over past times there. And share a laugh or even sometimes a tragedy with everyone.
And to find out about the latest prices, flights, events, dates, places - think yous know what I mean.
The forum has connected us two with so many lovely people. I am not going to try a list - my justjen has taught me well that you will always miss someone out. But some of that friendship has become obvious to all on the forum.
Hope to add you and that 67 year old reprobate to our list soon....
Phil
