Title: Arillas car hire
Post by: MandS on May 08, 2009, 10:46:02 PM
Very happy with rental this week from Arillas car hire
25 Euros a day for 4 days...a Peugeot 107, but you can't have everything can you?
... and actually although we'd have preferrred a Panda it was fine for us (a family of four and all the clobber we needed..) to get all round the island and it was v. economical to run.
We did about 400 km for 20 Euros worth of petrol and there are lots of filling stations, so no worries there.
Wouldn't hesitate to use this company again; very friendly and helpful.
Thanks! :-)

I'd agree! We hired a car from them for a couple of days last year and were very satisfied with the service (and the unsolicited lift up the hill later in the holiday).  Have already booked a car with them for two weeks time.

I always hire my car from Theo at Arillas car hire. I am told I could get a car cheaper from Sidari but I would rather support local business as long as I can, and he has always been very reliable and helpful.

I drink so I don't drive when we're in Arillas, so why am I posting here?

Well, we have stayed at Anna Studios, and know the whole family well, like so many do.  They are all such honest and hard working people. I am not at all surprised that Arillas Car Hire is as good as the studios are - value for money.

Like Oregano, MandS and Sandy's, we have never heard a bad comment in all our time there. If you want a hire car, you should do as Sandy says - support our locals.

That's my problem....I have been known to have the occasional drink. But somehow I always manage to get up that hill....someone always seems to rescue me.....lol....usually those Rainbow boys.....thank you Jimmy and Spiro....xxx

Occasional??? Life is so full of occasions for me and my Jen. Getting home from the pub, finding a bargain on litre bottles of Smirnoff, Eurovision Song Contest, a new Poirot on TV, putting the rubbish out.... any excuse! During a two week holiday in Arillas there are so many occasions. Sometimes we have frappe without the voddie... Apparently one glass of water this year....

Like yous we have a network who make sure we don't do any damage. Have made mistakes sometimes - who hasn't? But we also get rescued. Wish Jimmy and Spiros ran our local.... Truth is we live 50 yards from it....

After posting this, Theo would never ever rent a car to me! But then I won't be asking....

Still agree that they (Arillas Cars) are the best choice.
Phil

Thats a great price! Is it more expensive in peak season? Last year it cost us around 34Euro for 1 day! We really need a car this year for around 3 days.  Do you think we could book now at those prices?

Dear Jo, after booking my Hols for this year I contacted Theo at Arillas Rentacar and the price he gave me for 5 days in the week 20th July was e145, HOWEVER, the 'on the spot price' was e170.

It seems that an upfront web booking could save you some money...

Best Regards,

Giff

P.S.  Why don't I have a bloody Euro key on my flash expensive Keyboard??!!

Arillas Cars, Sandy and a moment of madness.

Last year I was in Theo's office and Sandy was also there and guess what, she was wearing the PINK CROCS. Now, these crocs are quite famous so I couldn't hold back from temptation. I had to bend down and touch one of them.

I don't know what Sandy thought, but I had to do it. There aren't many forum members who have touched Sandy's Pink Crocs!!!!!!!!!!

I doubt that you could get a better car hire company, than Arillas Cars. You get looked after by a lovely family and you know that you are going to get a safe car at a great price with no hidden extras.

We had a 107 last year and we found it very good value, plus the car didn't lose power with the air con switched on.

Terry...you certainly know how to live dangerously! (I mean driving a 107, not touching my pink crocs).

I'll have you all know that the pink crocs are still going strong and have already had their first trip of the season.

Hello all

We appreciate all your good comments. We aim to do our best at all times for our customers.

Hi Theo

As you know, Weggs Parents have a very nice Panda from you.

I can tell you that "Papa Rob" is very happily driving around in his very nice Panda and enjoying North Corfu. ( But he still wants you to take them back to the Airport ! )

When "Papa Rob" is happy then it has to be a very high recomendation indeed.

Negg.
ps - Can I have the wheels for my Punto?
