Looks lovely, Eileen and Erja. Jen just tried to sus out exactly where it is. Doubtless we'll know when we get there in July. We're useless with maps but reckon it's on way to San Stef. What's it near to?
In any case, we'll sample the Mythos....

The trouble is, it's in such a perfect position for a 'half-way' stop I can imagine getting there , stopping for 'refreshments' and only managing to roll back down again into Arillas! lol.

I did hear rumours about a bar opening on this track when I was in Arillas last week. Nikos....is this anything to do with you????

they will be amazed Mick. Whether it is the new Gravia bar or anywhere else you can go they will either love it or hate it. But I have a suspicion that new Arillas Addicts are in the making...

Hi, Tried it Tuesday very nice place and delightfull views. Its half way up the track just before you get to the first road that goes of to the right. Young Costas is also quite a nice piece of totty Sandy. lol
Nikos is building on the land as you follow the path round to the left and has plans for it to be finished in about a month. Viv

LOL Viv....am I getting a bit of a reputation here? Going to watch that new film Cheri tomorrow so that might give me some ideas.....well, that is if I could also turn into Michelle Pfeiffer!!!

Hi all - we went to the Gravia bar twice while we were in Arillas last couple of weeks. What a wonderful spot! and such a great place to break the journey either to, or back from, San Stef. We found it originally walking back from San Stef, up the concrete road at the side of the juice bar and across the headland. Great loos as well!! Sorry, but I do think it's important to have good loos anyway... Views from Gravia are fantastic, you can just sit there with a Mythos, watching the views and cooling off from the arduous walk lol (I'm not a great walker, but trying)
We've a couple of pics on Barry's camera, so once downloaded I'll try and post them.
DO try the Gravia tho' - only been open about a month and they deserve to succeed

Loos halfway 'tween San Stef and Arillas are going to be so handy...and of course another reason to stop for a drink!

Ah Janis, we only have two weeks this year. There is so much on our list to see and do, including Gravia bar, I might just have to give up the drink and hire a car (I can hear the screams of disbelief....)
Er no, on second thoughts We'll have to save up for another visit later in the year!

Arrived in Arillas 12th Sept at 13.00 - in Gravia at 13.30 - views are wonderful - just what you need to start your holds!!!! highly recommended.

I agree bar Gravia is a lovely place to sip a cold drink and watch the amazing views especially after a long walk

Can you imagine Mary luvver - I've got the blues already and haven't been yet. I just know how I am going to feel on 22 July as I open the front door, knowing I can't get back out this year.... Jen has forbidden me to talk about it!
Oh well, never say never. Might manage last week of October if finances work out.

We stayed in San Stefanos in June and went to the Gravia for an evening meal and a drink.The food was fabulous.We had steak lamb chops salads and lots of other things as well.Lots of wine.The service was second to none.A warm welcome from Costas and all his family.Please visit you wont be disappointed.The views were to die for.Many thanks to you all and we will see you all soon love all your old friends whoo oooh!!xx

Good on you booked up for May. I do love Arillas in May it seems extra special seeing everying awakening after the winter. Just wear trainers and take a torch to walk back from Gravia Bar in the dark.
