This is yet another fantastic addition to the website. Have watched everything I can so far, including the recorded broadcasts. It really does capture in almost real-time the magic of strolling along the sea front.
It will be a long winter and I for one am looking forward to visiting "virtual Arillas" each day.
Well done Dimitris, and THANKS.

Hi All,
Phil - totally agree - the live broadcasting is fantastic, and will keep us in touch with Arillas through the winter months.

Yep, loving it here too 8)
-
Its too dark.... cant see anything but the sea!!!
-
I am amazed Sue - I can watch the peops on the beach actually moving instead of jumping from spot to spot. Do you need to "adjust your set?" It is wonderful on my machine (all 19 inches of it Kev....)
Love to you and Mike

Did anyone else see that dreadful chap the other day who pushed his partner into the sea off the jetty???

Sorry Sandy, didn't realise it would make me be "that dreadful chap." She needed a wash.... Fair cop. And a good look at the webcam.
Seriously though, Jen can't do the thin bit in the middle of the jetty, even though to fall in would not even wet her hair (which as you know goes down to her waist - you saw it walking past the bakery.....) It just frightens her.
Me, if you pushed me off I would just laugh and get another Mythos....
love

There's a lot of rocks along that side of the pier, hope she wasn't hurt. Viv
-
Sandy, please dont get to upset by this but it was a set up to see what reaction from other people were i must admit I was a bit surprised by it. Viv
-
Hi Dimitris,
Pete wants to know if you did record that little piece on 18th that we did for our Grand Children. Love Viv
-
LOL VIv.....I know. I was only winding people up. It was Trish and Colin....but nobody here on the forum seemed to notice, although someone did ask Trish if she was ok when she came up off the beach!!
-
I fell for that lol, I was watching it and cursing him, haha.

-
Hi Trish the fish....bet Theo was pleased you didn't get his car wet!!!

Can we expect more entertainment from the Live TV?
Could be good to keep us going through the winter.
Maybe Eggy could put his overalls and wellies on, and smash some pumkins instead of melons for halloween.
Dimitris could dress up as father christmas and walk along the jetty.
We could see Bebis taking his first walk along the jetty.
Any more ideas?
-
Negg, thats where you can do your streak from, lol

That's a great idea Sharon, I think I would pay to view that.
How about doing it for Children in Need, Eggy? We could raise some money for charity and also get some publicity for Arillas.
It could be Arillas Live TV, on live BBC TV.
Here is my £20.00.

for a chance to be in arillas again id let him throw me in again!seems so long ago.

Anyone seen the recordings from 1st and 2nd November? What a contrast! All the birthdays on 1st (Dimitris, Spiros, Annie, Justjen) were accompanied by a wild looking, windy beach with nobody in sight except a few cars, but yesterday (2nd) the sky was bright blue and lots of people were strolling about, some even paddling in the edge of the sea.
This is a really marvellous upgrade to the website. All praise to Dimitris.

I've just been watching this, it's the first time i've been around during the day to look at it. It's a good thing I don't have access to a pc at work, or nothing would ever get done! It's addictive!!!!!!!!
-
Anyone else looked today? Annie tipped me off and so glad I did.
Arillas Today is like a favourite woman. Wild and Wilful. Sea is crashing in and totally in control. Oh I wish I could be walking along the beach right now...
-
Phil, there didn't seem to be much beach there and I fear you might have been blown over if you tried to walk along it!!
-
I wouldn't care Sandy luvver. There's something special about feeling like that. Everywhere closed up for the winter, me my bench and nature. But then a lovely welcoming hot meal with Vasillis in Amourada. Sharing their home made wine. Ah, my idea of heaven.

Watch out for a Red Pug around 1:45 pm as I hope to be hovering about that time.
I may even wave.

Will be watching Neg. Anorak on.
Hope the lurgi has gone for both of you. Love to you and Wegg too...

Arillas is sure showing its "wild" side today.
Lovely.

Phil
A relapse on the "lurghi" side meant that Arillas didn't happen for me today.
But... A skyed offer of an ouzo pick me up from Brouklis may just make me get there tomorrow.

( 8 deg outside at 10:30 pm ? - Do you think winter's on it's way to North Corfu?)
-
Sorry you're feeling like c**p Eggy. I seem to be on top of the world. Lovely to "bump" in the chatroom just now. Hope Corfu is working for you both - it would for us. Still dreaming about being sat on the beach....
love from Jen too
