Just wondered if anyone else are going next month?.
I have a weeks accommodation booked at The Kaloudis and was a little worried about the weather. I suppose I can't complain due to what I paid for it.

Hi there Lisa
We will be there for 2 weeks from Monday night!
Dont worry about the weather, it will look after itself!
Looks like its brightening up on the 8 day forecast and it will still be 10 degrees more than in the UK.
Have fun regardless.

Hi Lisa,
We're heading back out this coming Saturday & are in Arillas until the 8th of October.
I'm not too concerned by the weather, I've taken a little bit of everything to cover all eventualities - but I'm still confident I'll be able to do all of the usual things like swimming, snorkelling, sunbathing etc.
I think it may be a little chilly in the evenings, but once you've had a couple of drinks it's amazing how these things don't seem to bother you too much :-)
What dates are you heading out?

17th to 24th Oct. It was a last minute deal after going away earlier this year. We had the holiday blues.
I must confess and say I have booked 2 weeks away next May to Turkey, so I will see how this resort goes and who knows, I may be back next year too.

Bet you anything you'll love it & will come back for seconds next year!
Sorry we'll miss you - we'll be back by the time you head out, but tell us all about it when you get back :-)
-
Lisa, we will be in Arillas 29th Sept to 20th Oct, It's a bit cooler at night so wear something a bit warmer but it's a lot better than in England whatever the weather's like.

I just hope there will be tavernas and shops open.

There will still be shops and tavernas open, although by the 24th a few may be beginning to close down.

Hi Di, at least now we won't be the only ones there (laughing). We are travelling from Newcastle. I think we will be ok with the weather too.
I think on another posting, I asked about cooking items in the studios/apts and whether they had toasters in them.
Well someone mentioned they took a toaster with them when they stay there so I have managed to purchase a small toaster from Argos and will be taking it with me too (even if I leave it there, for £3.50 it will be worth it).

Yes we fly out on 3rd October for 2 weeks and staying at Kaloudis. When we have been in October in the past it has been quite chilly in the evenings but had some gloroious sunbathing days. Just take layers and you will be fine. Looking forward to seeing you all there. Please say hello - dont be strangers. Anne and Phil
