Title: cash atm visa
Post by: craig w on July 10, 2008, 11:52:42 PM: im still going round in circles trying to decide on what to do with regards to money i think i will do a mix of euros and travelers cheques
is visa generly accepted in most restraunts as there will be 4 adults and 2 kids this will be our biggest expence
is the atm reliable or is it in the laid back greek maybe time mode

Glad that I did as the ATM wasn't working for a couple of days at the end of my holiday, my friends had problems along with others, and not everywhere would accept a card as payment. They eventually managed to get some money from one of the travel shops.

Anybody know if the ATM accepts maestro debit card?

Yes the villa is mine (lol, well Keith's and mine!)...it's just up the road from the Tria Adelphia so if you find time for a walk during your 3 weeks Phil will point you in the right direction. :-)

we arrive 28th July, and yes will try get up to the villa while we are there, would love to look round, are you out there at all during my 3 weeks?
we alternate our hols, 1 year arillas, me, elaine & josh, the next we go with a group of friends - usually to Icmeler in Turkey. Been trying to bring/persuade our friends to come to Arillas, telling them how great it is etc..
Your villa looks a perfect base.

Hmm..We don`t nomally use the AtM ,but do have a Nationwide debit card with Cirrus Logo..There is a search option for ATM`s on the Nationwide website ,but it does not list the one In Arillas......The logos for all accepted card are usualy displayed on their ATM... (has anyone noticed?)Need to confirm as we arrive on Monday...
