This message is to all members....From KEEFY....I have been watching a small programme on SKY television I think it is on Channel 256 (but i will check) the programme is on at 06:55 GMT in the morning and it is called WORLD LIVE and all it shows is about 90 SECONDS of camcoder footage from around the world (as the name suggests it is live) it is only 6 to 8 places . Today was Hobart Austrailia , Macau China, the Dolomites in Italy etc...etc...by now i think you can see where i'm going with this....imagine it 90 seconds of Arillas beach may be only once a week/month but it is better than nothing....so Dimitris Eggy all members what do you think....??

You could always catch the program an hour later Eggy on the +1 channel. Its on 253 at 6.55 and then channel 254 repeated. Its also on in the evenings but I'm never up till 11 to watch it!

Can't pick up those channels for "World Live" - There are quite a few signals which you can't get here even though you subscribe to them.
But we do seem to have all the major ones, except of course BBC/ITV/Channel 5 plus any other links to them.
( To pick up these would cost us e1500 for a giant dish )

We may cancel Sky in the summer because, at the moment, we're recording more than we can watch. Various Films, Property Progs, Dramas etc.
We currently have an asstd 23 different programs to watch, on the recorder hard disc.
( About 30 hours of watching )
I may copy these over to DVD and just keep for next year. By February I think we'll have a pretty decent library.

To Eggy and all other that may be interested....Earlier Eggy you said that you could not watch world live as it is not one of the channels on your sky aera well look below this is the world live web site go have a look and i ask the question again do you think it would be an idea to try to get Arillas on here...

I have had a look Keefy, and although it seems a good idea to have Arillas on the program, I think that the cost would prohibit it, because the type of camera required to show video would be expensive.
Most of the cameras that are used for the program seem to be owned by large corporations such as Hilton Hotels so it would be a viable business strategy to have a top spec webcam.

Well a short story From KEEFY i was not feeling very Christmasy tried to go shopping just damn mayhem people are either too slow at walking...not walking at all long queues just to pay a pound for a card so really miserable.
Then i logged on to ARILLAS after previously askinf for a Christmas theme and what did i see
