Title: Early visitors
Post by: willis on April 15, 2007, 09:45:28 PM
Who is starting to get excited about their trip to Arillas? It has been a long winter but I'm off on the 4th May to our favourite place. I'm only going for the weekend but it should still be great. I'm then coming back for the first week in June. Hopefully I will get back later in the year too.

Willis, I think everyone who's going this year is getting excited now.
I know I am!! We go mid June, and hopefully I may be back later in the year.
I think when the weather starts to improve here, I feel more like it's near
  holiday time. Can't wait!!!!!

Im getting really excited, i cant wait to go!!

We go on the 21st of May and it cant come quick enough, the weather has been lovely the last few days and so it just makes you want to be in Arillas with the same weather but the difference being youve got a pool beside you or the lovely sea to cool off in!!

I'm getting exited and I've still got 16 weeks to go.  Lucky people going in a few weeks!

By the way, how did your exams go, Nick?

I passed thanks, although that wasn't based on my Arilla studying, which wasn't very comprehensive! I also managed to get a job straight away using my new qualifications, which was really lucky. It was a 6 month contract that ends at the end of May, so I will have to look from another job now. How is your studying going?

I passed my Power and Politics (just!) and like you, it was not down to my hard work by the pool!  I've got two more to sit in June then can just chill out and get ready for Arillas again!  Staying at the Bardis Sun this year but will spend some time at the Rainbow while there.  Glad you passed and got a job - good luck getting another one at the end of your contract.

Or you could just go for a long weekend like I am. It seems a waste of a bank holiday not to go when flights are so cheap. The only problem will be coming back on the 7th when everyone else is just starting their holidays.

There for 3 weeks would love the weather to be fab but just to walk in that clean fresh air drink ouzo and meet lots of old and new friends is all we want.
Hope EVERYBODY going this year will have a fantastic time!

I'm flying BA this time. It is costing me £133 I think, from Gatwick. I'm staying at the Horizon with Marinos. I'm not sure what the arrangements are, it is all very informal as we are good friends. Even if I wasn't staying there I would be confident that one of my friends could find me a room for not too much.

This is the first time I have written anything on the Arillas Forum - although I have been reading all the topics for ages!!! We are going to Arillas on 8th June for 10 days staying as usual at Kostas Apartments - fantastic host - both Kostas and his wife Aphrodite make our holidays so special.  This is our tenth time staying with Kostas - our hols can't come quick enough!!!!

Kefi is a nice place Dave, just dont go trying to compare it with Corfu, look at it as a change and next time you come to Arillas it will be like coming home.
Welcome to the Forum Marion, now you have started posting you will find you will post more, you must have quiet a bit of knowledge to pass on to people especially about the Kosta apartments.

Hi Marion

So our little secret about Kostas apartments is out. We too stay at Kostas Apartments but the climb up the hill is getting a bit much for me. We will be in Arillas on 11th June and wanted to stay at Anna's but we couldn't get in.

Kostas usually rings us to see if we want the apartment but he must be full up this time. You are right both he and Aphrodite are lovely people and the view from the apartments is fantastic especially at sunset. We usually have sundowners at least once on the roof of the apartments.

Maybe we will bump into you, Arillas isn't that big.

Janina
