Hi
Looks as though we will have to look for different accommodation for Sept 23. Have only ever stopped at the same place for past 12 years.
We are there this September so will look around and hopefully book dates that match our flight.
Any suggestions of apartments worth looking at. Not worried about a pool, but a near by watering hole would be nice. Not to far from the front.

Either Bardis Studios or Hotel ?

Taking into account where you have previously stayed I think Truths recommendations are good.
I also think Hotel Horizon would also suit the requirements that suit you.

You can not go wrong with the Bardis Studios or Hotel fantastic family they do food got a bar pool in both

Have a look at the Diamond Apts just up from Gratsela. They are spectacular

I always recommend Bardis Studios especially if you want a bar. Bardis Hotel - no connection to Bardis studios does not have a bar open in the evening but people who stay there use the bar at Bardis studios in the evening
The apartments are small but very clean and the Bardis family are the best hosts.

We are never in the room much so as long as they are clean and tidy with a decent bathroom and with ample clothes storage and comfortable beds we are happy.
Don't do any cooking
Need a nearby bar of course lol

Like I said earlier , and Sonia says , either of the Bardis's.
Top floor of the hotel has great views !

Hi Kevin might be able to answer this as he goes to the TRIA ADELPHIA are they just doing independent holidays now or are they with a package company again thanks.

Stayed at Tria a few times. Excellent , especially if you want to be a little bit 'out of the way'. I have got friends from Stoke there now fior 2 weeks 🙂

Meant to say also Bardis apartments are obviously very close to sea front and Seaview from the upstairs apartments.

Have booked a two room apartment at Gratsela.
Looked at the studios but they had no kitchen, just fridge and kettle.
Dont cook as such, but Val does boil eggs etc for her beach lunch time salads . Also need a sink for washing out underwear etc.
Several other studios we looked at had no kitchens.
Was suprised at some of the prices being asked for 2023
Not easy to compare as we have stopped at the same place for 13 yrs in Arillas.
So compared a two bed apartment in Skiathos, booked through package with TUI, where we have stopped for 27yrs.
In 2021 it was £1472 in 2023 it is now showing as £1952!!!!!!!!!!!!! This of course includes flights, but shows the way prices are going.
Fortunately we booked in 2021 and avoided the price increase.

Several other studios we looked at had no kitchens.
I don't know which studios you looked at, but I find that very surprising.
We usually stay in studios (Tria, Bardis, Arillas Dream, Elena-stella, among many others), and have always had cooking facilities, often in the form of a 'kitchenette' rather than a full kitchen, but perfectly adequate.

Geoff the Tria Adelphia has all facilities small kitchen some times we cook a breakfast bacon eggs beans toms does us

Thanks, but we are more than happy to stop at the Gratsela. All booked for next year.
A good price for a 2 room apartment right on the front with a nearby bar and restuarants.
Prefer a 2 bedroom apartment as Val likes air con and I dont
