Oh no. Beachpont no longer do gyros. Disaster. What is that all about Eggy? Do you know.
-
NOOOOOO!!!
My staple lunch - Can't believe it either??
Thought this was such a popular thing?? - Maybe something to do with the current economy?

There is a lot of local afternoon and evening competition for gyros so maybe they are concentrating on some enjoyable alternatives??

Perhaps Eggy but it is jot paying off. Never seen it so empty.
Ps - where would you recommend as M alternative?

WOTCANISAY? - I have missed Beach Point for a long while. Only because I do not get around as much as I used to and so generally look for a place with a dartboard.
I have found that, for me, one of the best Gyros comes from "Costas On the Beach" with our Kavaddades local "Mon Amour" a very close 2nd.
Problem for Kostas is that owner Vasillis had that heart problem so the gyros has not been available until after 4pm ish.
Cheers

Its a good excuse to try everywhere Sonia 😂

Sonia,
To be honest and this is my opinion...
..... a gyros must be seen to come , sliced in situ, when you order it.
I was at Beach Kostas , this afternoon, but a tad early as they don't open till 3pm. However they loaded the gyros for me and a very large portion sat in the passenger seat of the Punto for return to Kavadaddes.
But there was less in the box when I got home as I had to stop a few times!!!
Our tea tonight. - Sadly, with staff problems , they will be closed Thu/Fri but if they are open on Sat then pop in early and see what they can do.
Cheers

Oh No!
Me and the hubby are absolutely gutted. We love their gyros.
We'll be arriving on July 11th so we're hoping they'll have returned by then.
-
We'll just have to have more long lazy lunches at Gratsela or Kostas or effies or....so many!
-
OK. There is good news and bad news. Had a really good gyros at Vinceremos. Better than at Boyuta but the search still continues. The bad news also is that this is Vinceremos last year.

Hi
We had a few meals in there atmosphere 0 Bev Nic Brett Billy and me went in one night there was about 4 couples in having starters
We ordered our starters and main meal
We waited 45 mins for the starters ok we had a few drinks but the main meal was about over 1 hour after the starters
The place was near empty
But next door Gratsela was full
Most probably picked a wrong night
And yes I did hear he was closing down he said it is his last year that was a couple of years ago

I agree Eggy also. I think best from the spit. Will try Kostas but usually it is lunchtime when we have one and they are now only open in the evenings I believe?

I thought Beachpoint was next to Alex's supermarket.
Have I got the wrong place?

Well it is our last day today. The best we have found is Vinceremos but as I said it is his last year this year. I hand over the mantle to others and please do feed back.

Safe journey Sonia 🙂
