Thanks for posting that Terry. Got the shock of our lives when the video switched to The Marina on the Saturday night dancing and i'm sitting there watching. If you look closely, the Duke and Duchess, as me and Kay called them before we got to know them are sitting next to us, by the bar.
Her name is Caroline, but we cant remember his name.
That was the Saturday night when England beat Sweden.
Great video.

We were in Kosta's one lunchtime as the van drove past and Irene who was serving us at the time started giggling. She apologised and said the man's voice in the van especially when he says melons makes them all laugh every time to which we replied...Oh I'm glad it's not just us then!
However the cherries are absolutely delicious!

Regarding the fruitman/men - word from the big boss man is that we shouldn't buy from them. They aren't local and apparently the fruit is bought from the market at the end of the day so of dubious quality and probably not local either (cherries - or should that be serries :D don't grow in Corfu). We made the mistake of buying from the sexy watermelon man once and never again!!

We saw him today on the beach! For those that aren’t aware he will charge you extortionate amounts and he weed in the sea then carries on along the beach!!

I didn't think he went up the beach. I thought he just drove around in his van all day.

The donut man and the "sexy watermelon man" are definitely not the same person! The "sexy watermelon man" only drove up and down the road when I was there with his lovely cherries and plums! And the one I saw was very sexy indeed, unlike the donut man!

I'm sure the man selling his fruit on the beach is definitely not the same fruit seller from the van. The van drives up and down the sea front and the man (should I say boy) as he's quite young is very clean and quite handsome. We bought fruit from this van and it was been absolutely fine.

There is also another "Watermelon" who we all see on our way to Arillas from the airport. I think he is only there in the mornings, but he is always there, even in the winter when he sells potatoes. I often wonder what he is thinking about while he sits there

Viv, it is best to keep away from the Donut mans produce. He can be quite dangerous with it :-(

Does the doughnut man still sell stuff on the beach. I didn't see him this year but we didn't go on the beach much.

Haven't seen him on Arillas beach for about 3 yrs but he still try's other beaches or so I have been told.

He was definitely selling his fruit and donuts a couple of weeks ago when I was on the beach almost every day of our second week...25th July on wards and certainly not sexy!

The Donut man in the photo was definately there this year at end of June/early July.
In fact there was another chap walking up and down the beach selling donuts, a lot taller than the chap in the photo

Yes we saw him too and thought it was the same man at first but definitely taller and definitely NOT the sexy watermelon man in the van. Ha! Ha!

Oh no! He gives me the creeps, didn’t see him this year. But the man inthe van had us laughing and copying him everyday, still say it like he does and we’ve been back 6 weeks 😂
