So now that Christmas and New Year are done and dusted I think its high time that we all start posting about our forthcoming visits so that we can all daydream about feeling that glorious sunshine on our tired, stressed-out bodies, tasting those fabulous home-cooked dishes in our favourite taverna's, drinking that ice cold beer/wine and most of all living the dream for a short precious time! To anyone that has just booked and is wondering what Arillas is all about, please introduce yourselves and we will make you feel welcome and give you any help that we can!
The Wissett's will be back at the Marinaki in July and are so excited even though I think this is our 15th year! Each year we are more excited than the previous year as there are alwaysnew discoveries to be made, new eateries to try as well as catching up with our Arillas friends/forum pals who treat us like their family, not just paying guests! So who will join me to kick things off??...
Have just booked this morning. Staying at the Marina from 13th June for a week.
Flights back on from Belfast which is great as have had to travel from England the last few years.
Anyone there at the same time as I will be looking out for friendly faces?
Dorothy
well, jo we are staying at your gaff again! we will be there 12th until 22nd september, so a bit of a wait, but soooo worth it, dreaming of waking up listening to the waves gently lapping the beach, sitting on the balcony eating breakfast, deciding what to do with the day ahead, evenings with a glass of wine watching the world go by................

Love this positive post Jo meluvver.
We still have our "quiet" stay in April when we are supposed to commune with nature and the sea, chill and soak up the atmosphere. In truth it looks like turning into a partay of large proportions. Must ask Kostas or Dimitris if they can do March next year.....
Jo meluvver, there are so many of us who wake up and live for summer. We might be boring or difficult to the others, but we share love, life and happiness. Can't bl**dy wait for 2014's offerinr. Will see you there!!!!
loveandhugs

Mango we arrive on 21st so will definitely meet hopefully! Now don't be shy!! So pleased with all the other postings thanks folks xx
And also (I know you shouldn't start a sentence with and, sorry teacher) but so looking forward to Phil's updates in April. Usually have to wait until at least May for delicious Arillas tit-bits! (Oh god...here we go lol)
Last week in May and first in June at Mathraki for us, working on other week but have to fit around our sons wedding and two grandsons school holidays.
We also have just over a month to wait for the birth of our new grandchild. So a very busy year for us, but we WILL get there for our second holiday. :)
Val x
Val meluvver, a holiday isn't only for grandkids.... grandma needs one too!!!!!
Jo meluvver, if we get wifi, we will spill as many beans as we can in April. Moi raison d'etre is to make people want to join me in Arillas. April has huge potential.
Can't friggin WAIT!!!!

14th to 28th July for me. Flying out on the 30th June to volunteer again at the Corfu Donkey Rescue centre near Paleokastritsa - it's an amazing place - and then collapsing in Arillas for a well earned rest and recuperation of the soul.... I.c.a.n.'.t w.a.i.t.
First night's meal will most likely be Thomas's.
I will finally get to Arillas at lunch time on Friday 15th August and Heidi's flight from Finland gets there early evening and as always we are staying at Brouklis.
First I will slap some factor 30 sun cream and get some essentials out the suit case before starting the slow crawl through the village saying my hellos and having a drink or two.
Then it's right along the sea front then left before parking my derrier at Sharon's for a chilled glass of Royal Ionian and just chillaxing into the view.
CAN'T WAIT! 8)
Tria 23rd of May for a week . It will be Thomas's first up for us :-)
Hope to meet you and your family Karl, we arrive on the same day :)

We will be at Mathraki for the last week of May and first week of June. Great to hear that Val and Bill will be there again. We will look forward to chats over a glass or two at the pool bar, and hope that we won't need the umbrella this year!!
See you both there, just wishing the time would go faster.
