Interesting Phil.....Gatwick more expensive this year. I have had to pay £180 return without a bag. Still....can't complain!!
Just booked August Rhodes flights £777 all in for 2 adults , 1 child and 1 infant. August school hols.......Happy days
Cheers Thorpe
JUST BOOKED! 16 days next August for 2 .... £545, not too sure if thats a bargain but just happy to know we are going to be back! This will keep me going now for the winter months as we freeze here.
BOOKED!! 16th June - 28th July. £394 inc extra luggage and pre-booked seats. Only problem is that it seems we are on the same flight back as Phil & Jen !!!
Just booked Bristol 1st Sept - 8th Sept - £316.00 for two - with pre booked seats - happy days!
Harumph - just tried aug 4th to the 18th for 2 adults and 2 children £1,449 with luggage!!!!!!!! Taking the flight times (meaning an extra day used from my hols) and the distance from Whitby area to Manchester, have decided to stick with jet2 or TC
boo hoo
That is pricey isn't it !?
Those with children or people like us (both with jobs in schools) are always going to be stung I'm afraid.... Oh well I always dreaded retirement but this is the one and big advantage....Maybe then we will be able to go twice a year in May and September!
Prices are rising rapidly.

We usually do ok even in school holidays (obviously not as good as outside of school holidays) if we get in VERY quick when Easyjet release .

I think I got there too late at around midday for August flights from Gatwick as Thomas Cook flights turned out to be £54 cheaper that SleazyJet.
Absolutely ridiclious prices for a "budget" airline *shaking my head*
But when all is said and done Arillas is soooo worth the money 8)
Well, dramatically higher prices from Bristol for school holidays - way, way up on last year (about 30% more and that was booking almost as soon as the flights came out) - and now, about eight hours since we booked, flights including luggage are now double what we paid last year and £600 more (£150 each) than when they were released. Expect some return flights in July and August to be around £500 each by later tonight.
This is how any business works and easyJet no different. Charge as much as you can get away with, especially for those who can't go away outside school holidays.
In fact, Thomas Cook flight only from Bristol - with much better flight times, more leg space and more in the way of in flight options - is now cheaper for many dates than easyjet and Thomson not much more.
booked 16-27th june marina hotel here we come
The key is to book withinin minutes of release. And I mean minutes :):)
Totally gobsmacked. Flights I paid £350 for this morning are now well over £600 at 10pm. Jo has it exactly - minutes.
Phil
Jo -did you get booked ?
Remembered you saying to someone let me know the second that these one these come out.
I did let Jo know , just as she e mailed me to let me know! Lol
I think we were a couple of hours after release
Checked last thing last night nothing. Booked today at 11.00am for June/July a bit late for bargains gone up from last year but, £253 with luggage and chosen seats for 15 nights. We are pretty chuffed at that just checked again and its gone up another £31 each. 262 sleeps to go Whoop Whoop Whoop.

At least you know you still got a bargain. I was really surprised at the time they came out this year as my husband checked really early and there was no flights out wasn't
It about 1am last year ?
Its amazing how the price has gone up. I booked 3 seats at 10.00am this morning and by 9.00pm tonight they have gone up by a total of £150 approx.
I forgot to say that I booked seats at the same time last year (Oct 2012) for the same flights that we had this year. For 2013 I paid approx £130 per seat return. For 2014 the same seats on the same flight are £206. These prices include easy boarding and choice of seats. Thats 58% increase, but they are still cheaper than any other airlines going from East Midlands, Birmingham or Luton.
Hope you all enjoy your Arillas experience in 2014. We wont be there next year as we are off to explore Thailand in March. Considering the talk of 'budget' airline prices in this thread, I was chuffed we managed to secure flights from Newcastle-Dubai, Dubai-Bangkok, Bangkok-Krabi using Emirates and Bangkok Airways with meals and 30kg luggage in hold for £700 each return.
YES!!!! Booked 29 Aug for 14 days from Manchester - £379 2 adults,Luggage and seats with extra leg room. Well happy as the same flight was £460 this year.
Just a quick bump to say that the prices are slowly coming down again now after they shot up hours after release :-)
