someone who checks arillas.com at least once a day, never thinks of holidaying elsewhere and spends most of the year looking forward to spending time in their beloved village.

Someone who decided within minutes of walking into the village they would never travel abroad anywhere else .. love at first sight.

That is exactly how we felt and still each year feel the same way.Planning dates for next year while still enjoying that years experience.
Can I be allowed to express one reservation about the terminology.The word "addicts" can be construed as persons who eventually lack judgement.
We all always keep an eye on anything that we think could help Arillas or indeed might affect it adversely.
I would prefer "Committed Arillacs"

Some one like us who book the day we come back for the next year,they always ask us why that place,we answer HEAVEN.We only get one big Holiday a year and this is where we want to be,peace,good food,and most of all to feel that we belong.

People who talk about going elsewhere in the world, for a change, but never actually make it, elsewhere. In fact, they book for next year whilst still on this years holiday.

Haha, we're like Vaughan and Angie! Keep looking at other options and think we should go somewhere else and then thinking "why?" - Arillas has everything we love - beautiful people, super walks, relaxing beach, enough tavernas to visit a different one every night in our 2 weeks if we wish, everything within close walking distance..... I would hate to book somewhere else and then find an Irish pub (nothing against the Irish - my mother is one!), signs up advertising sport in ALL tavernas, pictures of touristy Greek food outside tavernas with them fighting to get you in, need I go on?
Arillas has everything we love in a holiday. A month today!
This Arillas Addict is someone who finds it accidently when looking for a 'cheapy', comes back again 4 months later, then moves over 15 months after that!!

Eggy .....think that we saw you in Mon Amour last Saturday! Your wife was taking a doggy bag home and Nigel commented on that. We were sitting next to you. Would have said hello properly had we known that it was you for sure. Twas only when some other diners said good night to you and addressed you as Wendy and Neil that it clicked and then it was too late!

Wendy doesn't eat much during an evening. That generous portion of Moussaka was enough for her followng days lunch.

As the Arillas forum continues to grow it becomes more amazing how you can chat to someone and then find out afterwards you have communicated via one or more postings. Is Arillas full of Arilliacs?

I have been hooked for several years = love the greek islands but now have found my home - every walk we look at places we could live - if only = at least visiting the forum every day i can pretend i live there - please dont let anyone commercialize it = cant wait to get back - love it yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
