Title: Happy Birthday, Tony with an A
Post by: Dai on July 13, 2013, 10:41:52 AM
Best wishes on your 70th Tony.

Saw Greg and Jan a couple of times yesterday, both looking good and enjoying Arillas. Heard about the chair and the red trousers, which you omitted to tell us about when we saw you here in June. Enjoy your day!

Hi Ian, thank you for the birthday greetings but 65 was on my cards and a small pension starts today.Tell Anna I am still a poor pensioner because the taxman wants his share. As for the red pants saga, lets just say I like to leave a colourful impression wherever I go. You could say Anna had two dyes in here bar in June. Enjoy the rest of your second break and don't forget to sign a copy of your book for me!

Apologies, Greg told me you were the same age as Anne, I didn't realise you were so much younger ;-)

Happy Birthday Tony, hope you enjoyed your day, even if Ian added five years on :)

Thanks for letting the cat out of the bag about his  book......so now all I need is the title, spill please, either of you.

Hi Val, I'm afraid this post is part of Tony's riposte as the book is a long running work in progress. Maybe one day I'll be able to let you have a copy.

I think you are digging yourself into a big hole, Ian. Mrs J. Is not a happy lady. She's only 69. Ouch! Sorry 64. I bet you think you are safe in Arillas but you should know that women never forget.

Thank you Val for your birthday greetings and yes I did have a good day, finishing with an ouzo and lemonade. Sorry but I don't know the name of Dai's book. I am sure he would welcome suggestions.

You are getting scary now.
My shovel has been retired, which may be a good title for my book.

How about "A Dai in paradise" for a title!

Work in progress Dai? We have waited a long time but if the book is as good as "Effin Arillas" we can wait a while longer.

I am surprised that there has been little response to the suggestion for titles for Dai's book. Being a James Bond type of chap, I thought maybe. "Dai another day" or "The man with the golden bum".

Ho, ho think you may have started something Tony......mine is "Live and Let Dai"

Anymore ? Must suit a James Bond type of chap, to quote Tony. Maybe you could come up with your own Dai, having a title could spur you on to finish your book, then we could all buy it. ;)

Janet says the title for your book should be "A Carol isn't just for Christmas."
