Title: honey and garlic
Post by: robinandmave on July 06, 2013, 06:37:32 PM
While sat in Brouklis taverna , I overheard a customer asking for honey and garlic , what he really wanted was honey and yoghurt .
Having thought about it , why not . Roast the garlic and add the honey and a splash of balsamic vinegar mash it up and enjoy .Not tried it but I have the copyright for this concoction , hope this makes me a rich man ?

Regards
Robin .

Sounds bladdy fantastic Robin. Spread it on fish or chicken and grill. Eat it on toast (or even better for me, bread fried in olive oil.) Just the garlic and honey, maybe a light touch of salt.

Won't do much for your love-life, unless of course your partner gets turned on by men who smell of Mythos and Garlic. I obviously found one - still happily married to her after 40 years....

Sorry must own up to being the one who asked for honey and garlic, Demitris has promised to add it to the menu, at my age may do more good than the youghert and honey. Whilst in a confessing mood, I must own up to accompanying Lady Gaga and Kylie in the Coconut bar, was this due to the prospect of honey and garlic.  Memorable two weeks from 14th June, tho it is now hot here in sunny Lancashire.

David and Edna,
Just knew you would get up to mischief left on your own, just when we thought that we could trust you....second childhood?  :) :) :)

The honey and garlic I could understand because as we get older we get dafter, but the dancing....and without Bill?
Lady Gaga and Kylie...... He is well jealous. Mind you if we had been with you both we would have enjoyed watching and reminding you the next day.
So glad you both had a memorable holiday.
