Title: Guardian article
Post by: katerina on March 24, 2013, 02:41:07 PM
I'm not sure if anyone has seen this, but it sounds like just the kind of publicity that Greece could do with at the moment.

Good news from Greece (http://www.guardian.co.uk/travel/2013/mar/22/greece-islands-new-holiday-ventures#)

Good reading Katerina Thanks for posting.

Culinary tourism is certainly to be found in Arilllas.

Community spirit - the litter clean up.

Green initiatives like the Arillas trail are all evidence of this happening in North West Corfu.

Ideas in action do make a difference to this type of tourism. :-)

I'm glad you enjoyed the article Nan :) discerning traveller that you are (how were the Balerics by the way?).

I thought it was great that out of all of Corfu it was Arillas that was mentioned. The article highlights the good things that Greece has to offer, which includes the wonderful fresh food, fresh air, blue skies, sea and lovely people. Can't wait to get back there...!
