Title: Brouklis Website
Post by: TerryW on October 26, 2012, 11:36:55 AM
I like the new Brouklis website - http://brouklis.com/ and I have always loved the rotating spit so I am glad Dimitris has put it on the Home Page.

Plus ...."In our kitchen we do not use a microwave oven, nor stock cubes or other commercial ingredients."
"Our specialties are daily fresh prepared in a limited number of portions."

I'm with you on that one Terry - Great new site Dimitris.
I especially love the 360 virtual tour - if you squint slightly you can actually believe that you are there, well apart from the fact that you don't get that wonderful smell coming from the kitchen :-)

I agree - great website ...

I tried to see if I could recognise any of the diners, but I couldn't- there was a chap inside though who looked familiar (the original Mr Brouklis himself!)

Smashing website. Mouth started watering reading the recipe for gigantes. Can't wait for more of them.

Just had another look at it, really good site.
Still waiting with mouth watering for the recipes. Roula does take me into the kitchen and show me how to cook whatever she is cooking at the time but I would still like to see them on here as my memories not as good as it used to be. Pete and I make a lot of her recipes but sometimes as we are eating, things are said such as OOO bu--er I forgot to put the so and so in.lol.
Still it dosent take away anything from the site's that are already there and I often look at it as it makes me feel nearer home. Viv x

Congratulations to the Kourkoulos family on their 40th anniversary of the taverna.

I love this web page....

http://brouklis.com/index.php/40-years.html

I initially thought it was Dimitris on a photo, but then realised it was his father, Spiros. As we say in the UK the spitting image of his dad
