Title: Mirage goes independent 2013
Post by: justphil on June 27, 2012, 11:21:01 PM
Nikos and Angeliki Goudelis have just announced on Facebook that Mirage is going independent in 2013.

Mirage is in such a glorious position, looks like a tropical resort, and from the pool bar you could believe that the sea is part of it. The food is great, the family are beautiful, and the beach is 10m away.

Angela posted the email for enquiries as:

mirage.goudelis@gmail.com

I for one wish them every success in the new venture.
Phil

Couldn't agree more with Phil and Lynn - Nikos and Angeliki are lovely people.
(but of course so are ALL the Arillas business proprietors AND all their staff)
Remember many years back when Mirage had just opened and I was staying at a little apartment in Arillas that was approached by a rough track - it rained very heavily that evening and the water had run down the edge of the road carving a deep trench across the end of the track.
It was dark when I turned into the track so I didn't see the trench! :-(
Very difficult to get a car out of a trench when both wheels are in it up to the axle, and it's still pouring with rain!
Just as I was beginning to give up all hope Nikos drove past, stopped, got out in the pouring rain, and helped me get the car free - getting covered in rain and mud from the spining wheels as we did so. Then, with a carefree Kali Nichta, just drove off into the night as if nothing unusual had happened.
Can't see many people doing that in the UK can you! (With the exception of Arillas Forum members of course!)
Nikos and Angeliki have done wonders with the Mirage since then - Good luck guys - you deserve it.

Just heard from Angela, Mirage will not be with Thomas Cook next year so you can now book direct with them. Viv x
