Title: Veggie food in Arillas
Post by: seasider on September 06, 2005, 11:04:58 AM
Just come back from my first stay in Arillas - which was great.  I was a bit concerned at first about food since I'm a veggie but needn't have worried.  Sure I am several kilos heavier now!!  For anyone else with that worry - don't!!  Most places do several veggie main courses.  The best we found was at Kostas on the Beach - mushroom stroganoff to die for (and I don't usually like that!).  Seemed like everyone else liked that place too as it was always very busy.  Most impressed.

Glad you enjoyed Arillas.
( Don't tell too many people though as it's hard enough to book for next year already )
Costas is a great place to be, I think, and does cater for various tastes.
I am not a veggie but I did eat a few non-meat meals especially at the Brouklis. Their Briam ( Potatoes+other veggies) was good and they do a very good courgette pie and also a Lentel Soup. All mostly starters I suppose but 2 or 3 starters served together is as good as a main meal.
( Only my opinion )
Cheers
