Title: Prices in Arillas
Post by: HARLIN on May 30, 2012, 04:13:46 PM
Can any one tell me if the prices have gone up much since last year. We are coming to Arillas in June. Just been to Elounda in Crete on a cheap late deal but the prices for a drink and a meal out were ridiculously high.

3 euros for a beer(lager)3 course set meal at The fish taverna was 11euros,full english 5 or 6 euros depending on where you go.We did not buy bottled water, took our travel filter and drank the tap water,so no idea how much that was.We found stuff very reasonable.

i think the prices wont rise that much ,,as arillas needs as much trade as possible to survive greeces onslaught ,,but as harold has said ,,very similar to last yrs prices ,,i know cigs have gone up though for all you smokers so might be cheeper on the plane ,,,yammas

Trust me Kevin G.

Cigs will not be cheaper on the plane.

I smoke Karellia Blue , king size, e3.10 a pack of 20. Probably JP Superkings are e3.60. JPS red/blue std are cheaper still.

Never shop around for cigs here as the price on the packet is fixed.

Food and beer prices are still very good locally. Keep an eye out for specials at all places. A 3 course,or main course special may be cheaper than spending hours looking over large menus. (Some of which remind me of "War n Peace".)
But customer satisfaction means give a good choice to choose from.
Super food is still available anywhere. You don't need to take out a mortgage.
Cheers
