I have often slept on Arillas beach. It is amazing to wake up to the sound of the waves lapping, and realise where you are.
Birthday Greetings for 17th. Would have posted before if I'd known.
One day I will do that on my birthday, but in all likelihood wearing a warm coat - it will be December.....

We were there working on our house for 10 days , having driven down in my van , via Venice , I was absolutely knackered ! Weather was pretty good and in the ten days we only had a couple of wet ones ...
We stayed in one of the three new stone villas above Arillis which was really comfortable and owned by our builder Spiros Aspiotis who's office is just up a bit further called "Corfu Build" , next to the coffee shop (which has great cakes !!)
We had several fun nights at the "Amourada" restaurant where Leo made everyone feel very welcome and his mother cooked up chicken in red wine & mushroom sauce , not to be missed !
Anyway it all seems a long way away now and I am glad the return drive is over !
Can't wait to get back ... question is "which is home" ?
