Arillas does not get a mention but San Stefano does in how to get there.

Thanks Erja :-)

Despite my best intentions I've never yet managed over to the islands...

Did the Erikousa cruise last August.
Driven to San Steph, boarded and lovely early morning cruise to Sidari to pick up the daytrippers from there.
Fantastic views on way to Sidari, cliffs and Canals d'amour shrouded in fog. Sun blazing down by the time we got to Sidari.
Daytrippers and provisions of all sorts taken onboard for Erikousa, almost felt like a local!
Minimal shade so take a hat and plenty of sunblock, gets quite breezy at sea!
Erikousa nice walking island, view down to beach is spectacular, colour of water was breathtaking!
Beach is nice and flat, could nearly walk out to yachts!
Be warned no shade on beach! Had lunch in local taverna, very nice.
Some spectacular cruisers berthed there...how the other 1% live!
Great day out and great value.
Highly recommended as a daytrip, gives better perspective of the islands as seen from Arillas.
Pat.

Thanks Erja and Pat. Like Eileen, best intentions haven't yet delivered a trip over. Might squeeze it in this time, but if our usual Arillas activities go normally, we'll still be left with nothing but good intentions.....
