Post by: dylan on November 14, 2010, 10:59:19 PM
We are booked to come back to Arillas end of May 2011 after having a great holiday this year. unfortuntately I have now got some mobility problems and may have to cancel! is it possible to hire a wheelchair anywhere for use in the resort if I was to need one?

Get in touch with Olga Vigli (Olga's Travel.)
http://www.olgastravel.net/ (http://www.olgastravel.net/)

She has found all sorts for everyone in the past, and I am sure she can help you. Others can too. MnM had us in stitches with his video of Arillas in a wheelchair. Most places will be easy, and to be honest, you will get VIP treatment from our Greek hosts. Jen can barely walk, but we still do it all thanks to the amazing hospitality we all get.

Just stay booked and have another brilliant time in Arillas.
Phil

I agree with Phil, Dylan:

That's in fact why I choose Arillas back in 2007
because I wanted to take my mum to recover after
having had kemo-therapy. She could hardly walk either.
and the Horizon Hotel has a lift, as well as being close to the beach.

Good luck and don't give up.

We have taken my mum (84) with us on our last 3 visits, take her every where in her wheelchair, Mick even pushed her up to Afionas.   We have taken her own wheelchair but as Phil said Olga has been able to hire one out in the past.

Mum was made welcome every where we went and it wasn't a problem for anyone.  Hope you manage to get there as I know how I would feel if I couldn't get to Arillas.

Dylan,

In September 2008 we holidayed at Tria Adelphia as usual, due to a badly broken foot I was in dire need of a wheelchair for 3 weeks. Olga was able to hire me one at a very reasonable price and it was waiting for me at Tria when we arrived, I had no problem, my wife was able to work off her meals and drinks whilst I was able to consume whatever I liked (only joking luv).

As Phil says contact Olga and I am sure you will have no problems, and yes I did have some fun and received a lot of help from all my friends in Arillas.

Get mobile and enjoy your holiday.
Ttfn, Mick.

Many thanks to everybody for your info, I am hoping my problems may be sorted in time, if not I will certainly pop into see Olga, we met her this year when we booked some trips. At least it would give me an excuse for getting legless again, and the wife needs to lose weight! (she says)
