Title: Dionyssos II
Post by: EddieB on October 12, 2010, 11:11:32 AM
I have booked the Dionyssos II for 2 weeks from the 20th June next year.

Does anyone have any details or internal photos of these studios.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Ed.

Excellent choice Eddie B.  We have stayed there loads of times, and many others too.

Check out this website and it will tell you all about it.

www.rainbowarillas.com

You will have a super time.

Just got back to UK home (1 hour ago) after terrible weather meant that Planes could not land in Corfu! (On a Monday too),though one or two did manage to land, non of TC's. Spent the night in corfu (Corfu Chandris) along with at least 4 other plane loads. What a test for everyone concerned. Plenty of moans but actually at short notice a 1000 people were fed watered and bedded. I think that was brilliant. We had a fantastic time staying in Dionyssos 11 as always, and everything was great. Anyone booking on line next year, be aware that there appears to be a surcharge to go into D11. Last years complicated codes have been replaced by a £4 surcharge. Going into town in the morning to try and check it out and will keep you posted. Need to book and have something to look forward to through the winter months.

When I booked yesterday at Thomas Cook in Preston, I asked if there was any difference in price between I and II, and was told that the only difference was that they where in separate buildings.

There is nothing on my invoice about a surcharge and I got the same price as was being offered on their online site.

Can anyone please tell me the cost of air conditioning at Dionyssos II, and also the cost of the safety deposit boxes.

Ed.

No, sorry Eddie but we've never felt the need for either.

Air conditioning used to be 5 euros a day...not sure nowadays. Can't help you with safety deposit boxes - I never felt the need to use one there. You could leave the crown jewels on your bed and they would still be there when you came back later.

I'd rather be safe than sorry.

If anything does go missing, you will not be covered by your Travel Insurance.

I seem to remember that the safety deposit boxes are 35 euros/week, handy for passporst, car keys, travellers cheques, tickets etc. Air con is about the same.

Hi Danny.  What a fantastic surprise for your mum and dad. I hope that my kids continue their love affair with Arillas when they have no need to come with us anymore.  Welcome to the forum x

We stay here every year and love it, can't fault it, I'm sure you will enjoy every minute. We are going to miss it this year for the first time in seven years going to Florida instead.
