Title: EASYJET 'credit note' problem
Post by: angiem on July 23, 2010, 12:22:17 PM
Hi all,

Advice needed please.

We are due to fly out from Manchester on monday but are having to cancel because of illness in one of the party.
I've rung EJ and asked if we can have a 'credit note' to put towards flights hopefully in a couple of months time. They've said 'No, you can only transfer to specified later flights at the cost of £50 per person (£25 each way)" . We can't specify flights 'cos we don't know when we'll be able to go.
Any ideas how we can avoid losing £700+ , or spending an extra £200 and risk losing that as well!!

Angie

Thats just reminded me to tell you that we got our insueance back after all.
At first the excuse was that becauser I had signed volentry for the operation on my back that I had signed for any side affects no matter how rare.
Luckely I had a doctor on my side and he stated that it may not to long had  the operation because to long had elapsed to prove it. Anyway they ended up paying out. Something I didn't know is that you have to clain the flight taxes sepratly from the  company that is flying you there otherwise you dont get that back, Love Viv
