It was Thanks to Goldtrail travel that we found Arillas.
We had booked with them to go to turkey and were adviseda few weeks before we went that the hotel was over booked, we had the choice of changing hotels or getting a refund. I rang them up told them we would have a refund and had it in full within 4 days.
I then went down to Holmfirth and asked them to book us somewhere cheap but nice and they found us a accomadation on arrival for Corfu, wasnt to keen but deciced to go, and the rest is history.
Like you Jo, I hope it hasn't affected anyone on the forum. Viv
I'd never even heard of Goldtrail travel until today!
We had booked with Goldtrail through Travel Republic and received an email this morning to say they had ceased trading and we needed to find ourselves alternative flights. We have managed to find alternative flights but it has cost an extra £100 :-( We also now have the prospect of a long wait for our money back for the original flights from ATOL. Still, on the bright side we are still going to Arillas and that's what's important.
We went with Goldtrail about 4 years ago to Turkey... Marmaris.. all inclusive! Rubbish Hotel! Food atrocious Didnt see the rep all week.. my daughter and I went and didnt leave the hotel at night on our own.. Not suprised to hear the news. The Hotel seems to have changed its name a few times since.
