Title: Greek words.

Hi everyone,you may not know it but my job is to look after the elderly.we have just had a little greek lady brought to us who only understands a little english and as you can imagine feels isolated.i know only Good morning,Good evening And hello in greek.would love to know how to say Please eat,and your basic Toilet word and also how to ask if she has pain.any help much needed.

Hi Heather,
I'm not good at computers myself, but I've heard you can type any
word in your own language and get it translated into any one you wish.
Maybe someone else can give you more details?!

For basic everyday words try this BBC site ...

Its good because you can hear how to pronounce the words plus you can download them.

Thank you sunflower and Terryw for your help,have managed to pick up a few words that will go some way to help us communacate with this little lady and help her to settle in x
