Title: Old Perithia
Post by: Eileen on May 28, 2010, 12:20:53 PM
Doh...I posted this yesterday but must've hit the wrong key because it's disappeared ???

Every year I love to visit Old Perithia...I know many of you are just as big fans as I am.  So for Old Perithia lovers and those still to visit a guide book has just been published which includes history, village walk and photographs old and new.

Details about where to buy the guide can be found here.... Guide to Old Perithia (http://www.old-perithia.com/)

By the way if you are visiting Old Perithia I can recommend you stop at Harry's taverna in New Perithia to enjoy delicious traditional Corfiot food...and just to whet your appetite here is my starter....

Just bought one on Amazon, it looks realy good. Even if you go to Old Perithia a lot and think you know it, you can always find a path you dont know. Thats how Pete and I found these.

Eileen luvver, thanks for the information. I have already read a great deal, but haven't yet visited. We won't have time in July - will barely visit all of the Arillas we want to in only two short weeks.

But the guide will be really enjoyable. Can't wait till it arrives.
