Title: no rise in taxi fare 2010
Post by: kevin.g on May 08, 2010, 09:15:55 PM
even though our greek freinds are finding it tough, in this economicaly challenging times, and petrol prices have risen, it looks like noula at san steph travel has kept the taxi price the same as last yr e55,and considering the distance and time it takes ,i think its a fare price, dont 4get she also does mini-buses for larger parties ..........yammas

Great idea Worthy but car for the week would mean no Mythos. And 150 would even buy me enough of the stuff for a week! 50 large ones more or less.

If I get a car in July I will have to be dry the day before. I guess I'll just stay in the village.....

But for many it is the ideal solution. Theo will arrange it all. ArillasCars - our very own. Find the link on here. Wish that applied to the ATM....

A car for the week Phil.
All you would need to go with that would be a safety deposit box to put the keys in for the week......lol.

Hi All!
This year I had a taxi from the airport arranged as usual by Dorita to take me to The Bardis Sun Hotel at the cost of €54. On my return I went and booked with Olga's Travel. Olga arranged a taxi share for me which was only €20. Great service and large saving. She will use a mini bus if there are enough people wanting to get to the airport at the same time(up to six) and the fare goes down to arround €12.
Yammas,
Martin.

Just a word of warning!!!  Have never found much difference between booking a taxi and just picking one up at the airport ................. until this year.  Picked up a taxi at the airport and despite my best negotiating skills - it cost 65 euros.  The taxi back (booked from The Rainbow) cost 53 euros!!!

Will book one in future!
