Hiya everyone
Me and my husband are looking at renewing our vows in 2011 and I emailed holytrin@otenet.gr on 9th Jan regarding this but as yet I haven't heard anything. I was wondering if it can take this long to get a response?
Thanks very much.

Yes, dont worry, I waited ages. Send them another to remind them.
Keep us all posted on this, Shell - we Arillliacs love the idea of renewing our vows in such a lovely place!

Thanks for the replies! We are thinking of Sidari as this is the only place in Corfu we have been to and we LOVED it. What is Arillas like? I am going to have a nosey online and have a look at pics etc :)

Hi Sweetcheeks,
Arillas is about as different from Sidari as you could get. Its an unspoilt, charming, beautiful village. It has plenty of family run tavernas where you will be treated like a an old friend. It has a clean safe beach, clear blue sea. We went to Sidari the first time we came to Corfu and hated it, then thankfully found Arillas and dont want to go anywhere else. There are a couple of late night music bars that are very popular.
Have a look on the photo threads, you will get a good feel of what Arillas is like. Hope you choose here for your renewal of vows it really is a hidden gem.

It does look lovely! I love places to eat with a view and places that feel quite cosy and have a good feel about them.

Hi,
I second Sharons words. Even though I've never been to Sidari I've got the
impression that it's a place for young people wanting lots of action going on.
Arillas is most of all a place to relax and chill out.
There are plenty of restaurants and Tavernas with great traditional Greek food,
as well as a couple of places to go out for a fun night dancing (Coconut is the best!)
but most of all Arillas is our favourite place for its unspoiled beauty and friendly people.

Awww I really do like Sidari. Yes it can be loud but we thoroughly enjoyed it, relaxing by the pool most of the day or walking around taking it all in. We went bowling, hired a boat, went to the waterpark a few times (we are still 18 at heart even though at the time I was 22 and hubby was 20 I think!!) had a horse carriage ride and on a night time we had lovely meals and then went to a bar or two. We made friends with the barman in one of them and he was really lovely to us, we also helped im mix at cocktail which was fun! A lot of the time we visited Majitos where we just chilled out, drank and played pool :)
Arillas looks beautiful and friendly :)

Sweetcheeks,
You'll make your own choice like the rest of us.
We all have our own ideas of what a perfect holiday would be like.
