Phil and Jen 12 to 24 July. Sadly, instead of 1pm, it will now be 1am on 13th, courtesy of Easy Jet. Guess the Nut will be open, but will have to wait another day for our first gorgeous meal in Arillas. Bah HUMBUG!!!

Commiserations, Phil - I wouldn't be impressed with that either!!  Just hope Thompsons don't change our flights now......

Thanks Lynn. I hope so too. We will get a long last day, but it isn't the same as arriving at 1pm, full of excitement and anticipation, then spending all afternoon and evening on hellos to friends all over the village, and a Sofrito or Bourdetto at Brouklis, and several voddie frappes in the Nut.

So sad we'll miss again this year, but nobody here knows whether I will go back to work in September, so let's see. I know where I would rather spend the tme....

Happy New Year to you and Colin

Strangely, Colin prefers the later flights, and I normally just go with the flow. (As long as I get there!!)  I do like early flights going out though, but still like later flights coming home.  Just greedy, I guess, want more time there!!

That would be wonderful, wouldn't it, if you and Jen really could manage to move there this year.  I shall keep my fingers and toes crossed for you.

Happy New Year to you both,

I was looking at Easyjet yesterday with the (very slim) hope that we'd be able to go again in September... All the flights I looked at were "odd" times - eg 1am etc.
Commiserations, Phil and Jen x

Excellent new and an excellent price Jo-Jo!

Heidi will arrive in the evening of Friday 13th August and I follow her the next day with a swift EasyJet flight from Gatwick. Then it will be giggling and drinking and singing and mild mayhem for two glorious weeks. :)

Sadly Heidi then leaves back to Finland on Friday 27th and I will be "Erja no mates" for an evening and crying into my beer in the Nut (that has never happened so far but one has to be prepared). Then the following morning I have to get out of Brouklis kicking and screaming into a taxi to catch the flight back to the old Blighty :(

:D It won't probably be so dramatic but that's how I feel internally always when I have to leave.

Erja luvver "no mates" is never going to happen to you in the Nut. But if the worst comes to the worst take your netbook with you and we'll have a virtual drink together on the forum.

love
Phil and Jen

Dimi and Spiros will see him right Sandy. Just make sure he takes advantage. He sounds like I will be in twenty years time. I already know I will take advantage, but I come from a different generation to your dad and perhaps know how to. I hope he does have his glorious night in the Bow. I for one will be there in spirit, buying him another drink.
