I've had one of those days today. I went to the funeral, yesterday, of a lovely neighbour who died suddenly so I was feeling really sad. Sharon's photo's perked me up and I heard one of my favourite Xmas songs at lunchtime. So I did this and I feel a bit better, but I Wish I Was There!!!!
Loved it Terry, I wish I was there too !
Fab Terry. I've never heard of that song before who and what is it?
Eileenx
Brilliant that Terry, really wish i was there right now.
Sharon x
Oh, I wish. Deep sigh.....
Phil
Deep sigh....... from me too. Oh, how I wish I was there..............
Thanks Terry.
Sara
Great stuff Terry..(Deep sighs and wishing we were theres) all round.
riggers.
Thanks for the comments. Every video on YouTube that has the word "Arillas" in its Tags could mean that someone will seek out more information, and hopefully go there.
Eileen The song details are .......

Loved that one too Terry.
I've never heard of Candice Night but no doubt her name will be cropping up more often now!
Thanks for the links. :-)

(ooo...I'm feeling all christmasy now!)
Think this is one video clip that I'll be playing time and time again over the dreary winter months.
Many thanks for posting this Terry.
Terry mate, heart-strings suitably tugged. Have watched it several times now.
Wish you were here -
Don't you know the snow is getting colder
And I miss it like hell, and I'm feeling blue....
Was the slide of the bench especially for me? But it was empty - no Sandy, no Phil no anybody. Guess it's like that now. Let's put that right one day. Jen and me will miss you and helen next summer I believe, but it is on my agenda... I never forget!
Thanks for the sparkle. Glad to see you bringing it back to our forum
Phil
I will say sorry now Phil :-)
As you said
QuoteThanks for the sparkle. Glad to see you bringing it back to our forum
And because Sandy said
QuoteWould you invite me too phil? I'll bring vodka.....
And because Sandy and yourself met on THE Beach .......
I had to do this :-( I think it needed a Litre Bottle for the cover up :-)

Wish you were Here
Thank you Terry
I end all my reports from Arillas with that phrase
Just wishing we were all there now
Well I have to say Terry, justphil didn't look quite like that......but our bench did!
Fantastic clips Terry.....will watch them many times over the winter.
It's back to front Terry. I have a young head on an old body! But I do remember when I looked like that with a young head too... Perhaps that's why Jen married me.
Talking sparkle, I bought a great offer in Tescos today - spend £30 and buy Charles Charpentier champagne for £8 (was £24.99.) Needless to say I now have a bottle waiting to get consumed over new Year....
I'm afraid I'm now more the second paragraph of this post than the first. But we've all had our moments....
lmao
Phil
Great video, Terry - yet again! ....and Phil - wow! don't you look well??
Janis x
Phew - after five hours of uploading I finally have a HD version. The File is over 1Gb but if you have a good fast internet connection and click on the red HD icon and then click on the Full Screen icon you will see much better quality.
I would be interested to know of this works OK in Corfu, so if there is a chance of feedback please let me know.
Just lovely, Terry, thank you x
Terry
It works for me ! - In more ways than one.
Great ad for Arillas and good memories for all.
Cheers
Negg
it worked fine frist time Terry, but when I try HD it keeps stopping to upload. (Download?????) Anyway, much better for me first time round! Thanks for doing that.
Thanks Eggy and Maggie.
I wish I was sitting, where Maggie is sitting on her profile picture.
Hi TerryW,
Thanks for the video,
it surely brightened up a rainy day in Denmark, too.
Connie.
Good job Terry! :)
Hi Terry,
just watched the video for the second time today, it brings back memories.
this will probably be a daily routine for the rest of the winter!!
Thank you for the links as well, I've never heard that song before, it's lovely!
Connie.
Really enjoyed watching that, Terry, thanks. Lots of happy memories for all of us, I guess.........
lynn xx
Really enjoyed that - Thanks,
Ivan
Well, it certainly works perfectly in Finland. Thank your, Therry, for providing such a perfect dream of sun, fun, rest and all the good things in life, just when the worst winter darkness is about to swallow us up. And best of all: it isn't a dream. It exists! Arillas exists, and we'll meet again. Emeralddragon/Ylva
Ah Terry fantastic as ever! Thanks for that!
Fantastic Terry,
The video captures everything about Arillas.I just wish I was there right now .
Keep the videos coming Terry, just to remind me how much I enjoyed my first holiday in Arillas.
love to Helen
Joan (skelly)xxx
Windbag back again.
Terry - I love Arillas in 405 lines, 625 lines, black and white, colour, sattelite, freeview, HD or anything. Your fans have all said it - the images of home are going to be viewed at regular intervals throughout the hard winter and will help us all through it all.
Eggy makes the key point - your slideshow ia a perfect advertisement for Arillas. I hope Thomas Cook, Thomsons and Olympic pay you royalties to use it. (They will probably hot-link to it for nothing though. Cynical me.... I wasn't born yesterday as is obvious to all.)
I wish I were there, even now when everything is closed. Well nearly everything. Both Jen and I would be so happy to share some time with those who are still about.
Phil
Yes Phil, I am really missing being there and its a long wait till next September.
Do you know the best part of Arillas isnt in the video. Its the people who live there and the people on this forum who go there. They are the icing on the cake or that should be - You are all the icing on the cake.
Do you like my balls Phil? :-) Can you imagine a Christmas tree full of those?

QuoteDo you know the best part of Arillas isnt in the video. Its the people who live there and the people on this forum who go there.
I have been saying that forever. I award you a grade A.
Well done Warner. I knew you would get there if you persevered. You now really understand this topic. To develop it further you need to post more jib-jabs, be as entertaining as you have shown you can be, and get your a**e out there in 2010. I wish you luck at the University of Arillas. I am sure you have chosen the right course.
End of teacher mode.
I agree with every letter, every word of your comment.
love to both you and Helen
Phil
And I'm afraid your balls have no effect on me. But I justlove the idea of a Christmas tree smothered in images of sunsets in Arillas.
Phil
