Here is a close up of the webcam and also the dish, at the back of the Horizon roof, that transmits the pictures to the Arillas Network, and then linked to the forum. After using broadband in Arillas, and seeing how slow it is compared to back home, I think we are lucky to get the quality of webcam pictures that are shown on the forum. It just shows what a good job Dimitris is doing with limited resources.

I so agree Terry. It is amazing how good the live broadcasts are. Jen and me would be much poorer without our daily fix. Dimitris, you're a STAR (Oh and Akis of course!!)

The sea front is looking very busy this morning. Preparations for the festival? I want to be there.....NOW!
Look at webcam without fail, but for some reason this last week you can see the beach in the picture but when it comes on live I only get sea and sky, although that is lovely I would like to see the beach and people on it. Don't know if it's this end or that end. Love Viv
Hi Viv,
since it's changed, I've never managed to get a 'live' view. I keep trying but never get beyond the black screen. I use the 'last 12 shots' to get my daily fix!
Yammas,
Martin.
Live streaming is available again!
thanks to Akis who visited me last night and fixed the ports to the live streaming encoder.
Happy streaming!!
Efharisto Dimitris and Akis. I am streaming again :-), the view is lovely and the sea is like a mill pond, very tranquil.
