Title: Music at the Kaloudis Bar ?
Post by: MugreesMum on June 18, 2009, 11:53:29 PM

Hi Everyone

Just a quickie to ask, does anyone know if there is loud music played at the Kaloudis pool bar that may disturb a sleeping angel baby?

When I say loud, I mean louder than average - just that some reviews on other sites have been mentioning this....I mean I'm not averse to music on holiday, that's what its all about, but just trying to find out if these other reviews are right..or not!!!

cheers

Miriam xx

We have never been disturbed by loud music at the Kaloudis. You cant have the windows r balcony open or you will get the mosquitoes in. They are a real problems make sure you go prepared. with little ones i would take a quid antihistimine with you just in case. We also take sprays and fly spray for the room as well as plug ins. Cant be too carefule we have not stayed in the accommodation over the bar wether that is a problem i dont know. In September i woud imagine it is quieter than high seaon and we go in July in High season

Hi Miriam
I'm sure it will be quiet enough for your lovely baby - I've stayed there four times and when they play music it's not that late into the night and the double glazing on the  appartments is that good ,when the doors and windows are shut you can't hear a thing - I managed a couple of years ago to sleep though a huge thunderstorm so I'm sure it will be fine.

Take care

Hi Miriam

We have been taking our daughter since she was three, and the music at Kaloudis has never kept her awake.  Once you walk away from the pool/bar area the music just seems to stop.

Hi Miriam

Just to echo what others have said, we have never had a problem with the music being too loud from the bar area. If you are at all worried though I would suggest you request a quiet room when making your booking, or simply send Roula a fax a couple of weeks before you are due to arrive. I'm sure she will do everything she can to accomodate yor request.

The Kaloudis is definately the place for you. You will be really happy you went there and will return to a little piece of paradise a lot.

Thanks Annie, that's lovely.  I think we shall go ahead and book it - just got to talk it over with hubby and then do it!
