Hi All,
Me and my Boyfriend came to Arillas last year and had the most amazing time in such a beautiful, friendly village. I really wanted to come back again this year but money was tight so we opted for an all inclusive deal to Majorca instead. Whilst we were there James proposed to me and we can't think of anywhere we'd prefer to get married or have some kind of small ceremony other than Arillas.....I am looking for some advice on how to contact the owners of the Horizon Hotel and does anyone know how good thier English is as i know it will involve a lot of planning and most probably many phonecalls!!!
It is just an idea at this stage as it won't even be until 2011. We didn't actually stay at this hotel on our previous visit but we have such great memories of the outstanding food and friendly service. We don't want some huge over the top celebration, just a few family & friends with plenty of food & drink!!! oh and what a backdrop that beautiful sunset would be for a few pictures...........
Any help/suggestions will be kindly recieved,
Liza x
Hi Liza, Have a browse on the site. You will find a link for the Horizon somewhere. I can see it on this page as I'm writing my reply to you.
Phone them with any queries you might have, their English is very good.
I'm sure they will give you any info you need. Good luck.
(You're right about it being a perfect place for a wedding)..
Hi Liza,
Take a look at this recent thread...there's some information there which might be of interest to you.

You have chosen well LilnJay. If I could get married again, I would do it there (and of course to my beloved Jen.) viv and Pete celebrated their ruby on the beach this year, Jen and mine in 3 years time. S*d the olympics, we will be in Arillas.
Our lovely photographer Marika is the forum expert on the Horizon, TerryW always stays there. Send either of them a PM (personal message) and they will look after you.
But you could choose anywhere for your celebrations. A feast in Brouklis comes to mind - the best Corfiot food available... It's what viv and pete did.
All best wishes to both of yous
Phil
