Help I can not find picture of the day !!

If you go to the 'home' page , look on the right-hand side (below Business Directory), there is a new link to 'pic of the day'.

( - it took me a while to find it too!)

A lovely house, shame it's more of a landmark and not a home to anybody. Viv

Have you any idea about the story behind it Viv?  I've always wondered why it's empty.

Have heard several, first that it was built higher then planning permission allowed, second that it was built with out any planning permission at all and thirdly that after it was built it was deciced it was to near the edge to live in. Also heard that the owner died before it was finished and the rest of the family deciced they didnt want to live there because of ghost of local story.
I dont know, none of them may be right, will ask Dimitris if he knows for sure when we get there in 10days time. Viv

Another mystery.
I heard that the owner had it built for his wife however she died and he could not bring himself to live there or to sell it.

Come on Dimitris let us know the true facts !!!!

I think the reason the pics only go up to Aug 08 is because Dimitris took a break from taking picture of the day.

Thanks for the explanation Eileen. I thought I was looking in the wrong place ( - usual reason, me not being the sharpest knife in the drawer, lol!  :) ).

It would be nice to be able to look on the archive to see which pictures the posts refer to, but not if it means a lot of extra work for Dimitris.
I think I'll pm Dimitris and see if it's possible for the pictures to be automatically posted on the archive, as and when they're shown on 'pic of the day'.
