hi guys
got back on friday afternoon from a real lazy week in arillas.
sat/sun weather was not to good, very over cast,
mon to fri was glorious sunshine and managed to get a bit brown,
mathraki studios was quiet and we spent most days round at spish splash because the mathraki pool seemed to get no sun, well not all day.
like splish splash and if we go again this is where i think we would go.
ate in different places every night, liked Kostas very much.
captains was a awesome breakfast, but they shut down for the season by thursday when we went back.
arillas was very quiet, but we liked that as it reminded us of pefkos rhodes many years ago.
used the malibu bar most nights as we made friends with giorge and mad kinga pretty quickly, spent most nights telling giorge what music to download and play as im a part time DJ as well.
met a couple from notts who we spent a few days and eves with, Photo`s are on face book, (haydn Farrell)
apart from the first two days with the weather, we had a loverly time, and we also noticed the prices were cheaper than rhodes,
oh and that walk up to the little white church was a killer, but amazing views.
my wife and i have said we would definately go back in a few years around the same sort of time, and i think we will stick to the flying out of norwich from now on, we landed at 14.45 and was at our front door within the hour, sod the driving to gatwick anymore.lol
many thanks for all the info i got off here just before we went, it was very healpfull
So glad you enjoyed Arillas djhaydn. Mathraki is a quiet little oasis if that appeals to you. In July their pool was in blazing sunshine all day when we spent a Sunday lazing round it.
The SplishSplash pool is in fact Kaloudis Village, which many forum members swear by. We stayed there last October and use it most days we do the beach - Jen stays by and in the pool while I head off to get sand in every little nook and cranny...
Arillas is a laid back, welcoming place wherever you go. We spent 6 weeks there in all this year, and wish it could have been 10.

Djhaydn. Glad you had a good time. Doesn`t a week fly by. I bet you`ll be back sooner than you think- once the place grabs you, it doesn`t let go. After our first visit in 2004, the day after we got home we booked up for the next year. It was the easiest decision we have ever made.
Best Wishes Paul D
glad you had a good time......yammas
