Title: Live View
Post by: dimitris on September 17, 2008, 04:58:42 PM
It sounds too good to be true !
But I think i have managed to  show our webcam "live" (http://www.arillas.com/page/content/view/199/258/lang,en/)
can anyone test it?  The sound should not work and I don't expect eggy to be there either.

Looks great Dimitris.

However, I put it on 'full screen', then when I tried to go back to the forum, I got "Internet Explorer experienced a problem" and lost the connection. I don't know if it's my problem or yours, but thought I'd better mention it.

Couldn't make it to work at work yesterday, and just tried it here at home but there is no broadcast :(

I'll have another go tonight or tomorrow.

I am only just catching up on posts from the last few weeks, and for some reason I missed this post(must be my age).

The quality of the "Live" picture was excellent and I felt it was clearer than the webcam.

Is this with the original webcam Dimitris?

All these extras keep this forum the best holiday forum and website on the web.

Well done again Dimitris.

The "live view"  was down for the last couple for the last couple of days....
There was problems with my internet connection too.
It is still very difficult to configure the streaming broadcasting... .
The free service that http://www.zaplive.tv (http://www.zaplive.tv) is offering is an excellent feature but it has not an option where it could run automatically, so someone has to start a broadcast each time  every day or a few times a day.

Watch this  space and please let me know what you think about it.

I'm having trouble seeing the live webacm.

It's telling me that -

"This broadcast does not exist anymore"

I'm assuming that I need to 'update' my link to it - can anyone tell me what I need to do please?

Cheers

I'm getting the same thing - maybe there's a temporary hitch. Perhaps it's raining too heavily out there!

I think  the Live Broadcast is on a schedule, due to it still being Beta Tested.

You can see the schedule and other interesting examples of Live TV here ...........

The arillas Live broadcast is not on a schedule.!
I have to restart it many times every day as the connection breaks for some reason....

The moment that  I'm writing this post, it is working fine and there are 19 viewers on it.

PS Terry did you get my pm?

I was watching "Live View" last night and loved the way the sun was glowing beneath a dark sky. Its nice to have two views of Arillas with the webcam and Live View.

It is marvellous, but depressing. Only been back since last Saturday and it makes me desperate to get back out there.

When I went on the 'Live webcam test' I just got a pic of the cliffs and the sea - can you see other parts of arillas too somehow? I agree too - it makes me want to be there more than ever! :)
